Just because you’re pregnant doesn't mean you have to put up with a backache, pelvic girdle pain, or other pregnancy-related problems. Pregnant patients often tell us that they've been told it’s normal to have backache in pregnancy - we don't agree! It is true that back pain is common, but this does not mean that it should be, or that there is nothing that you can do about it. Up to two-thirds of women who are pregnant suffer from back pain, roughly one fifth complain of pelvic girdle pain (PGP).
The good news is that some timely women’s health physiotherapy can help.
At Tracey Miles Chartered Physiotherapists, we see and treat a variety of conditions associated with pregnancy. Some of these conditions are more common than others. Below you will find a list of the most common conditions we see but if you can’t find what you are suffering from here and if you are in any doubt as to whether we can help, please contact us to discuss and we will advise accordingly
